Gavilan announces 2025 Rams Baseball schedule

With the arrival of the 2025 new year, opening day for the Gavilan College baseball team is just weeks away as well.

The Rams will head north to begin the season with a two-game non-conference series at Folsom Lake College that gets underway on Friday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. The set concludes on Saturday with Game 2 at noon.

That is followed by a three-game series against Laney College that includes the Rams' home opener. The two squads will face off at Laney on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. Gavilan will finally make is home debut on Thursday, Jan. 30, also at 2 p.m. in Gilroy. The series concludes that Saturday afternoon back in Oakland at 1 p.m.

The Rams are scheduled for 18 home games this season.

On March 11, Gavilan opens its Coast Conference South Division schedule with a three-game series against Ohlone College. The series opens that day in Fremont with the Rams hosting the Renegades for Game 2 on Thursday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m.

Gavilan is scheduled to close the regular season at home on April 24 against Hartnell College at 2:30 p.m.

Sanchez and the Rams will look to improve last season's 11-29 overall record. Gavilan finished tied for fourth place in the final Coast Conference South Division standing at 6-14.
